The Foundation in Real Estate course is an entry-level foundation course designed for aspirants who want to understand the real estate sector as a career, business, and wealth-building ecosystem. It introduces learners to the real estate industry in a practical and structured way, covering business fundamentals, career pathways, construction knowledge, design awareness, city development, planning, and property valuation.
FRE requires no prior real estate knowledge and no specific academic background. The only requirement is that you want to work in or around real estate and you want to understand the industry properly before you start.
Want to understand real estate as a career before choosing their professional direction.
Curious about how property, construction, planning, sales and development work together.
Looking to enter real estate but don't know which career path fits them.
Want a structured understanding of real estate before entering the family business or starting something of their own.
Want to understand the business and development side beyond technical education.
Looking to build practical industry knowledge and discover opportunities in real estate.
Every faculty member in LRE 2.0 is currently active in the land market — closing JDAs, running title searches, valuing parcels, advising developers. No theory without transaction experience.

FRE is the foundation, not the finish line. Most participants use it as the launchpad for a SIRE specialisation: JRE for investment and transactions, LRE for land, STRE for sales, or PGP for business leadership. SIRE shares FRE participant profiles with its hiring network and supports placement across development, sales, and advisory roles in Ahmedabad.
I came in knowing almost nothing about real estate. By Session 5 I could hold a real conversation with developers. By the end of FRE I had signed up for JRE and had two job conversations lined up.
Riya Mehta
Now: Junior Analyst, Real Estate Fund
I was switching from IT into real estate and had no idea where to start. FRE gave me the map. The site visits made everything concrete — I finally understood what all the roles actually do.
Rohan Shah
Now: Project Coordinator, Developer, Ahmedabad
My family has been in construction for 20 years and I never really understood the developer side. FRE changed that. I went straight into PGP from here and now I run the business strategy function.
Ananya Patel
Now: Business Head, Family Development Firm
No. FRE has no prerequisite in real estate — no degree, no prior experience, and no specific academic background is required. It is designed to be the starting point, whether you are a fresh graduate, a career changer from another industry, or someone joining a family business. The only requirement is that you want to build a career in or around real estate.
